Why scratch this off.

(1/1)

G7PSK:
I got this DC to DC boost module off Ebay to play with and perhaps to use for an HT battery replacement on a vintage radio, for some reason the makers have removed some of the markings on the IC but not all the number 1053E is still there and on the solder mask next to the IC is the legend YH11053B. Googling 1053 E comes up with synchronous DC to DC boost converter but not for the voltage range claimed by the sellers of this board. I cant see what the secret is that they are trying to hide, unless the ic fell of the back of a lorry or out of the reject skip.

And only 8 years later...

It's an XL6009E1 400KHz 60V 4A Switching Current Boost / Buck-Boost / Inverting DC/DC Converter.

Seems pointless to remove the PN since these modules are dirt cheap...
