WiFi Module - Embedded
« on: July 18, 2015, 06:53:57 pm »
Hey Guys

I'm looking for a small form factor Wifi Module for an embedded project.  I have very limited space 15 x 15 mm max, I was hoping for a small pin count package.  Does anyone know of any good ones they can vouch for?

The ESP8266 modules are very popular these days, at least for hobby projects.

The ESP8266 modules are available in large numbers. I'm considering using it in a product but I want to test the sh*t out of it first.

That might work :-), it's rather large, but I might be able to make it work!

You can also buy the new chips. Better quality control this way. Not sure what it does to FCC approval.
