Wireless Charging Roads? (Solar roadways 2.0?)
« on: December 01, 2023, 06:56:46 pm »
Does anyone have details on how much power transfer actually takes place while a vehicle is in motion? I assume it's not enough to run the headlights much less actually charge an EV... https://ground.news/article/new-technology-installed-beneath-detroit-street-can-charge-electric-vehicles-as-they-drive_d0b881

Much like the charging of anything wirelessly it's just about how much are you will loose before it gets where you want it. Though it will be a fun way to steal electric.

It's just throwing money at the wall trying to create a problem we didn't know we needed to solve. Somone will make money.

So everyone is clear, Calibration = Taking Measurement against a known source, Verification = Checking Calibration against Specification, Adjustment = Adjusting the unit to be within specifications.
