Join me in congratulating him on a wise career choice! :-+ Hopefully he won't be the party animal his dad was. O0 He will be receiving an EEVBlog uRuler as a graduation present. --- End quote --- IMHO getting your kids into some kind of engineering school is a big plus. My oldest son starts to warm up to becoming an EE as well. Being able to make something always puts food on the table. |

Well... here we are, six years later and my son has his parchment! Many extra co-op employments and a few extra interest courses contributed to a 6 year rather than 5 year timeline but he is all good and employed... in hardware!!! None of that software rubbish! Missed out on the iron ring due to covid but that is promised later in the year so we shall see. Well done my son!!! |

It's 0500 here and I read the title as "Woo woo" for a moment. I thought "what kind of Engineering school is your son going to?" ;D |

Funnily enough my other son is a geologist and actually does study crystals and my daughter is a health care aide and takes care of a woman named Crystal... :o |
