... turned on, for about a week
It's a small 936 clone, so no big deal, and luckily nothing went on fire (iron also was only mildly hot).
It was one of my fears as the 936 has only a (blinking) LED as visible signaling,
so I did add a neon indicator on the top of the base to show when it's powered,
but in its current placement towards the rear of the bench it's not very visible.
Maybe next step is to add some kind of 'auto-poweroff' set to the longest reasonable soldering session.
