WSJ claims chip shortage over and we are in a oversupply now?
(1/3) > >>
BrianHG:
Is this for real?  Are the smaller ICs and transistors used by cars easily available now?

I still cant get the FPGAs I want...
I dont care about the major CPU & GPU use in the premium computing products, what about all the regular size and scale ICs?

SiliconWizard:
If the WSJ says so! :-DD

Oh yeah, we are clearly in oversupply. In fact, you know why? There is so much oversupply at the moment that they are gonna need to regulate that by limiting production in order to limit energy use. :-DD
ataradov:
It is absolutely not true. But WSJ is a tool to manipulate stocks, so it is fine.

It sounded weirdly focused on specific traits of the semiconductor sector, sort of like cherry picking data to prove a point of view knowing the general public will not realize the myopic and deceptive specifics.
SiliconWizard:
I can't wait till the Economist tells us about chip shortage too.
