Buy from Tequipment.net to europe

Do anyone here have experience of buying from tequipment.net who lives in europe?

What  I can see there is two options for payment; 1. use credit card but as a european you have to send pictures of your card to tequipment, 2. use paypal if you have one.

And does the "free shipment" on some items include europe or is it just for the north america?

Why I'm asking is because I have got alot of different answers form several different people. And some say that: as an european you can have some trouble buying from tequipment because of laws and etc. Yeah, yeah I know that FLIR, fluke and Tektronix(?) has restrictions on the US companies to not sell outside US cause of "blablabla". (We at my work had some trouble to buy a really expencive and cool IR camera from FLIR a year ago from US :p )

And how will it be with the VAT? Cause sometimes when I have bought as a individual person something from US I had to pay the US VAT on the item and sometimes even the Swedish VAT on the item and the custom service cost too... So I have ended up with 2 VAT costs..

So do anyone know what I should be thinking of before I buy something from tequipment and how to pay for my order?

Shipping conditions are detailed on their site, go look it up or better yet go through the order process and you'll see the exact shipping cost for your country. I payed by Paypal and had no other charges (VAT, customs etc).
