The thing is, there are thousands of members here.  There is only a handful of moderators, who have relatively little time or resources, to moderate this forum.  So you can't create a very large number of problematic posts, which then need lots of moderation. It's not really practicable or possible.

Good luck with your (new to you) scope. Try NOT to break it too soon!

Does recent activity match past MO?

m3vuv was banned from other large electronics communities due to the issues we are seeing here also. I can only assume this caused him to have run out of forums/places to spend his time causing an increase in posts to this forum. We became aware of his behaviour after he flew off the rail and started to try to ruin the reputation of an eBay seller who he eventually scammed and stole from.

Since then we have seen almost daily moderation reports against this user because of various infractions, from being illegible through to being downright insulting and rude. He was given several warnings which he failed to heed resulting in a partial ban (muted) which Dave lifted after he appealed the ban.

Most recently he started to complain about our removal of his duplicate threads/posts, and as evident by this thread, publicly call out the mods for their actions. This pattern reflects the pattern we seen on other forums when searching for "m3vuv", bad behaviour that leads to calling the mods ass-holes, and then a ban.

I find it difficult and laborious to read, and therefor can't be bothered to more than skim over it. On the other hand what you've written is very easy to read, I can read it quickly and understand it fully without effort. A few misspelled words are no problem but some attempt at reasonable grammar and punctuation makes a big difference. Punctuation wasn't created as decoration.

Psychologically speaking I wonder what's wrong with the guy, I assumed he was a teenager from the txt speak but I don't really know. I could tolerate poor grammar if a person was polite, or I could tolerate occasional rudeness if they wrote eloquently and contributed something useful but I can't tolerate a person that has horrible grammar, is almost always rude and rarely contributes anything of value.

Well well well. I'll just file this under most unsurprising event of the week.
