| X-Y-Oscilloscope-Tracer, for Cat lovers!! |
| (1/1) |
| GlennSprigg:
We've all played with a Scopes XY tracer settings for testing components. This guy takes it to a new level, when outputting signals from his pc/laptop using an array of specialized software. (Will see where the 'cat' comes in!) 8) Maybe this can be repurposed for something practical ??.... |

Not to rain on your parade ;D, but using XY mode of scopes to display all kinds of stuff is nothing new really. There are many fun demos out there, and the obligatory clock. Like this: http://tuxgraphics.org/electronics/scopeclock/oscilloscope_clock.shtml Regarding how to proceed, it's a lot like the old vector displays worked too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vector_monitor |
| Cyberdragon:
The most advanced thing people have done with vector mode is oscilloscope music, and that's been out for years now. |
