Hello im new here im hoping someone can help me with my receiver. My little brother decided to try and update it and failed bigtime and now I have no sound im assuming if I can get hold of the original firmware I can reverse his wrong doings, is that even possible? ??

Welcome to the forum.
Best you start this thread again in the Repair board to get noticed by those whom seek to help with fixes.
A bit more info will help for those that are not familiar with your model.
Update it how?
Does the UI operate correctly?
Do headphones work?
Got a schematic or service manual....post a link for it.

Sorry ill find the repairs section and post there, no headphones, unfamiliar with the ui??? And he tried to put new firmware on the system via usb but its not for my model.
