Hi, Shafri here ;). Whats really annoying me are some lurkers (info hunters), they just jump in and post some really annoying and "sensitive", butt licking irrelevant posts IMO, and having too many posts and to be around everywhere is like a taboo. and i can see some fanboys start to filling in. So let the newbies recognize me as my current "nickname", and i think i will firm to this from now on. I'm glad the first newbie has addressed me as "Mechatrommer" somewhere, you can as well address me Mech, mechy, mecha etc for short or even my "real name" if you still remember me. And i changed Avatar to one of my idol, Mr Albert Einstein, instead of my annoying african like mentally retarded ugly face. I hope old folks will still recognize me. "Physically" and "Mentally" i'm still the same, just the name and avatar are changed. Cheers ;)

on the other hand, i wish post edit limiting time will not be enabled, as i usually correct my grammar and spelling when i noticed right after posting it, and add more extra points to my post. So i'm one among who really need the "Modify Post" button to be quick.

Real Circuit design time in minutes= (2 + Nscopes) Testim + (40 +120 Kbrewski) Nfriends

Testim = estimated time in minutes Nscopes= number of oscilloscopes present Kbrewski = linear approx of the nonlinear beer effect Nfriends = number of circuit design friends present

I think name changes need approving by the admin.
That's a good idea and he could announce it in the lounge.

I notice someone (who'll remain nameless) has a really annoying animated avatar.

Fortunately I discovered a way to block it, using Opera's content blocking system which I also use to block annoying advertising on another website I use.
http://help.opera.com/Linux/9.01/en/contentblock.html

I'm pretty sure Firefox's Adblock can be configured to do a similar thing. If anyone's interested, I'll investigate it.
