Hi, I have just taken a Zener diode from a Toshiba DVD Recorder Power panel. The only marking is 27B. Can anyone help with further identification to find a suitable replacement please.

Where is the zener diode located? It could be a 27 volts zener.
Edit: saw that you mentioned power panel...

Without seeing the part I would also vote for a 27V part.

Depending on the package it could also be either 1N5227B (3.6V) or 1N5927B (12V)

is it bad? If you have a variable power supply and some resistors you can test it.
