AI 'PAUSE' ? Seems to keep going, here and there

   Hi, I've noticed nightly news features a first-person combat scene, with green foliage and first-person holding rifle, while moving.   (Nightly news on Ukraine).
Very game-like.

   Those marketing folks, seems like they are trying to follow trends, right down to 'almost' a 3-D gamer appeal, with 31.19 % racial justice, 10 % 'mental health', and whatever else seems popular this instant.
They just dial-in the 'proper reality' while following, from behind....About 1.5 seconds behind whichever thing is trending, So, probably slightly trendy to ignore recent calls for a 'pause' in AI utilization.

   General public has heard, recently, about 'flattening the curve' (COVID), and (seems) like any trust has diminished.   So, the AI pause is maybe....old ineffective news.

Or not.   What's your opinion ?

Evening cable news CGI....(UHH, what's the 'i' stand for ?  Computer Generated Ixxxxx ?
