R&S Webinar - Practical AI for Engineers

Join Rohde & Schwarz for a concise, practical session on making AI a genuinely useful tool in your engineering workflow – not just a smarter search box.  The session digs into prompt engineering from an engineer’s perspective: how framing a prompt like a requirements document – with context, specific outputs, examples, and reasoning – dramatically changes the quality of results across tasks like spec review, debugging, datasheet Q&A, and test-plan drafting.  Persistent context tools like Claude Projects, Microsoft Copilot Agents, and GitHub Copilot are also covered, showing how a set-up-once approach eliminates repetitive re-explaining and drives more consistent output across a team.  Broader trends round out the discussion, including where engineering teams are genuinely capturing value in documentation, code, and knowledge retrieval – and the honest caveats around justification, IP handling, and where AI still shouldn’t be trusted.  You’ll walk away with concrete habits you can put to work immediately!

What will you learn?

1.    Prompt engineering techniques tailored for engineering tasks

2.    How to scope prompts for spec review, debugging, and test planning

3.    Using persistent AI Projects to eliminate repetitive context-setting

4.    Where engineering teams are capturing real value with AI today

5.    Honest limits: verification, IP considerations, and trust boundaries

6.    Practical workflows to implement starting Monday!

7.    And more…

maybe interesting for others:

Could have been interesting. Note that the form on the linked page asks for quite a lot of data, and that the 'privacy policy' is a ridiculously complicated way of saying 'we will do what we want, whether it is business-related or not'. Together with the unpleasant experience many have reported here regarding service and support, just another reason to stay away from this company as far as possible. Unless you're a big corporation or the military, perhaps.

The most disturbing thing is that is is never a problem to find an individual who accepts to write 'Rohde & Schwarz respects and protects your privacy.' together with the link to this 'privacy policy'. Disgusting.
