Ok, this has to be AI-generated slop:

It comes in any color, as long as it's black. And in exactly one style...
I don't understand why a company would fill its own website with such slop. It certainly doesn't improve anything...

--- Quote ---A: GTO cable is used principally for neon sign installations. UL has evaluated this cable and listed it as GTO-5, GTO-10 and GTO-15 to indicate the kilovolt designations of different cable subtypes. The cable generally consists of conductors that use thermoplastic insulation, enclosed in an outer thermoplastic jacket.

It's just an insulted wire with a voltage rating of about 10kV to 15kV. What's the concern?
EDIT: As for advertising puffery, there are almost no limits on it in the US. Caveat emptor.

Ummm... did you read the quoted text? I bolded the ridiculous AI marketing hallucinations.

A friend hires low-cost overseas people to help him with his website since it's not a major strategic part of his business.
They tend to do what appears to be a similarish thing to his website, i.e. if he doesn't keep in close contact, they won't wait around for text input, and will fill locations with garbage/trash placeholders and images that they think might be approximately right, and rely on it being brought up later to change to what is actually desired.
Definitely a weird way of working, since there's a risk of that garbage accidentally remaining. I thought they were unique in that, but maybe it's a more widespread practise.

Well, the whole page is amazing. Also look at the "GTO-15 Applications" part. It just reads like some bad translation from a chinese text to me. Which I'm suspecting it is.
The best part is that this is a US company. Apparently.
My overall guess here: they sell stuff imported from China and get the descriptions probably from the chinese seller, which themselves have probably used some AI to translate it.
