CS licencing through Element 14
« on: January 10, 2017, 01:16:10 pm »
Hi all,

Pulled the trigger for CS and received the email to setup and licence.

One problem, E14 setup the wrong email account for the CS activation.

I am now told it will take 14 days for a new activation email to the correct address.

Anyone with similar experience?

Thanks
Andy

Yes same happened here.  I was buying on behalf of another company.  It can all be sorted (and was), but it would be easier without the man in the middle I think.

Hi all,

Sad to report I have been getting the runaround from Element 14 for 21 days now.

Does anyone have a good email at Altium as I am close to getting my money back via a non supply of goods claim with the bank.

Thank you.
Andy

Hi all,

Well, 1 month in and nothing but empty promises from Element 14.

Licence finally came direct from Alium today, after requesting a refund and cc-ing a few emails.

Funny tho my 1-year subs dont start today, rather when I paid, 1 month ago.  :palm:

So... I got a nice email from E14 and they explained backend server issues were the cause. As a gesture of goodwill, they have extended my subs to 13 months from the time I got activated.

All in all, communication could have been better but I am now happy.
