Import Eagle schematic into Circuit Studio ?
« on: February 28, 2017, 09:53:02 pm »
I am trying out CS1.3 and I would like to import an Eagle schematic into CS. (I thought i would import the schematic and then lay out the pcb in CS)
However i'm really struggling to see how to do the import.
I can see the options for Eagle import (File...System preferences...Importers..)   but I cannot see any option to kick off an import.
I'm sure I am missing something obvious - I tried googling "import eagle schematic  into circuit studio" and just found answers relating to Altium Designer.

Can anyone give me some hints please?   Otherwise I guess i will just start over with an empty CS schematic.

"File" -> "Import" (then select the correct filetype with the dropdown menu next to the filename field) and then hit "open" ?

Thanks!    I don't think the import option was there when I opened CS the first time.
Or maybe i'm just getting old...

Thanks anyway.  Wish every solution was this easy.
