Interesting - I'm in too. How does 100V and 6A equal 40W? It can't so it must be a switching output, e.g. buck converter. So why then go to the expense / weight of a linear transformer? Then again there were many taps / windings so perhaps it is indeed linear with windings selected depending on voltage. So, how exactly does it work?
