As you asked, a tour of my small workshop. You've reviewed the scope I'm using now and trashed it. Since then I would like to have a new one. But I did learn a lot about all the features on a scope thanks to that video.

Please!   Save me from Knuckles!   He wants his slightly used Keysight DSOX1204G 100MHZ 4 Channel Oscilloscope and he wants it now!

Sorry about the audio, I know next to nothing about video editing. I did manage to include a CT image of my spine though...

Hi Dave,

Edit: Alright, found some time today to re-edit the video so that it properly fits under 2 minutes. The full video is still up for an explanation of the instrument mod projects.

Sorry, I just noticed the "2-minute rule"... after spending 50 minutes encoding the 4K video... :palm: Not a big deal though, only watch the first 2:00 minutes! It's more than enough to get the idea... (Spoiler: the only thing I'm missing in my little home lab is a scope and a func gen!).

Cheers!
Danilo

p.s. Apologies for bad exposure, focus, white balance, etc... Just wanted to get this out!

Hi Dave, I am 15 years old and love electronics but my parents think it is waste of time. I just have a cheap $3 multimeter which makes it difficult to test many circuits.
I can't even afford a cheap soldering station. Having an oscilloscope has always been my dream and you can make that dream come true.
Here is my lab (sorry for bad accent)

2 min is so short time to tell the whole story that is about me and what I do. Hope this will be enough.

Cheers,
Damian

Hey Dave,

this is our entry for the Giveaway.

We are a group of 15 students from a German high-school aiming to launch our own CubeSat, a small satellite we named "MeginaSat", into Low Earth Orbit.
MeginaSat will transmit data via an optical downlink to our groundstation at datarates of up to 50 MBit/s. As demonstrated in our entry video, our current gear will hardly be up to this task.

For this reason, the Keysight DSOX1204G would really be a game-changer for our project.

More information about our open-source project is available at meginasat.org!

Cheers,
MeginaSat

FIRST VIDEO OVER 3 MINUTES SECOND VIDEO UNDER 2 WATCH 2 NOT ONE
Hi Dave Although I have been watching you on you tube for a while now this is the first time I have posted on this forum.
It is also the first time I have ever done a video and uploaded to you tube and I have to apologise in advance when I finished recording I noticed I had been recording for just over 3 minutes but that was partly due to being nervous.
As I say in my video this would be a dream come true as I have wanted one of these for many years.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers Markhttps://youtu.be/fxvEeBOxS6M

After not feeling good about braking rules and posting this 3 minute video I have decided to upload a second under two minutes

Hi Dave,

this is my son's entry to the giveaway: https://youtu.be/lV8U-tSP_qg

He is usually more talkative, but he doesn't speak English very well yet. His native languages are Hungarian and Russian.

Cheers,
Tibor & TeĆ³

PS: Sorry, it is a bit longer than 2 minutes...

Chuckles Guaranteed!

I decided to skip my sob story(homelessness, addictions, comas, and other stuff like that) and go for some humor.
I had to remove a lot of the video and trim down a lot of clips to make it 2 minutes, but I don't think it affected what I was going for too much at all.

As for my current projects, I am currently designing USB/Bluetooth HID devices, as well as game controllers for older and modern consoles.
Some of my next projects include audio mixers, midi devices, and photography equipment. All of them which I plan to take to market, or at the very least open source.
I literally have a huge list, that I'm picking away at one by one, every day. That scope will get some good use out of it, but until I finish my first commercial project, a good scope is not in my budget.

Enjoy!
