Hi Dave, I am 15 years old and love electronics but my parents think it is waste of time. I just have a cheap $3 multimeter which makes it difficult to test many circuits.
I can't even afford a cheap soldering station. Having an oscilloscope has always been my dream and you can make that dream come true.
Here is my lab (sorry for bad accent)

Hi Dave,
This is my entry (sob story) for the Keysight DSOX1204G oscilloscope giveaway.

cheers! :)
Hi Dave
This is our entry Video of my multimedia electronic students.
We have currently eleven apprentice, in our electronic laboratory, age ranges from 16 to 20.
After the four year apprenticeship they will finally graduate as professional Multimedia Electronic Technician.
Two days they are studying theory at a TAFE, three days they are in our workshop.
We had much fun in filming this movie and a lot of laughter between it!
Have fun Albert

Dave thank for sharing, but only in the last page and giving it to the newcomers like 1 posts in here :-- :palm:

There are an awful lot of actual contributors that... you know.. actually contribute instead of drop in to e-beg. One post? Bullocks. :wtf: The bulk of people played by what we thought were the rules -- more than one post, obviously being a point in the previous forum submission drawing. Feels a bit like having goal posts moved to be honest.

There was NEVER a requirement for the video contest entry to be an active forum member. That was for the OTHER content I ran on the forum.
You are plain wrong.

That may be the case, but I think it would have been better for it to go to someone that actually uses the forum and does participate, obviously too late now, but if you are ever crazy enough to do this again, I suggest having the same condition for the videos too, would have saved you a lot of viewing time for a start, if you ignored all videos from people with less than say, 10 posts, that would have cut your workload considerably.
I saw a lot of videos from people that I really didn't think were worthy of the scopes, as well as some where I think the scopes were actually too advanced for where they are currently in their experience, would be like me wanting to get a 20GHz scope... it wouldn't be used.
It might save trouble by stating some guidelines up front... aimed at students etc. since that seems to be the criteria being applied.
Brumby ... ... But look at what you just wrote "Membership of the EEVblog wasn't necessary." Considering you have to be a member to submit sort of blows the doors off that notion.
What do you mean "last page"?
Brumby, I couldn't care less who won the scopes, mate.Internal contradiction. You are clearly bothered that someone from Sri Lanka won the oscilloscope, otherwise you wouldn't have posted the link and re-stated the issue in your last post. This looks like virtue signaling to me.
