Hackaday's 2017 Sci-Fi Contest
« on: January 23, 2017, 10:43:27 pm »
There is a new contest, ends March 6, 2017:

Nice prizes, too: First prize is a Rigol DS1054Z 4 Channel 50 MHz scope. But I think I would be even happier if I would get the third prize :)

Previous winners of the 2014 sci-fi contest:

I like the first price, the Demolition Man Verbal Morality Statute Monitor. In the project log down on the page here you can see how they built the shiny enclosure. Simple and easy, but effective.

From the rules -
- Use of time travel devices to extend contest deadline is prohibited
- Contest is open to residents of Planet Earth only. Extraterrestrials must obtain planetary citizenship before entering

Screw that !! Very unfair restrictions.
Hello <tap> <tap> .. is this thing on?

Yeah that should be an automatic win.

I've considered entering... but I can't think of any good Sci-Fi ideas at all.
