Quick summary report -
Well, a heck of a lot smaller than previous years - the term "phone booth size" comes to mind :-)
Nothing spectacular new, many "oldies" there - was good to catch up, but at least it wasn't 60% "fly-ins" looking for agents. Worth it for me, just to see who was still around :-)

I'm planning to go to tomorrow's event as I was too busy today to attend.

Even stopping and having a long talk at ~ 5-6 booths, It was less than 1 hr total ! I did get some freebies, so can't complain :-)

Well, one thing that a few people mentioned was the ridiculous high cost of a stall area, which were pretty small. Many had to share with 2-4 others as they said it just wasn't worth the costs, which they would never likely recover. Having been involved in exhibitions a few times, the high costs were ALWAYS an important consideration.
But back then, turnovers / profits were much higher, so didn't factor in as much. Yup, things have changed a lot.

IIRC the smallest stall was like $5k, I got mine for free a couple of times because they were left over and unused anyway (and I gave them free media coverage).
