Title: Warning - Penton Media (sponsored by Keysight) events

Hi All,

just a little warning. I participated in Penton Media / Keysights "RF Fundamentals Part 1-4" (advertised by Keysight!)

Since then I have been mail bombed by Penton Media. Every time I unsubscribe - but then they figure to invent a new newsletter or event and start spamming again.

I have not found a way to completely disable mails from Penton. I have added them to a range of spam lists. But looking into them online - they are famous for spamming and ignoring unsubscribe requests.

So IF you sign up to anything Penton - do it from a disposable email address.

And to Keysight - should you really be dealing with spammers like that?

Always use disposable email, especially for 1st time for contest, as we never know how nasty it will become.

You should PM Keysight's rep about this thread and hear what he is going to say about this.

Thanks for the warning. Definitely alert Keysight of the bad behavior. They have a vested interest in how their brand is perceived and the clout to make things happen with their "partners."

I'm really sorry to hear about the trouble you're having. We take this type of issue very seriously, and there are even sometimes legal restrictions about opt-out stuff.
