That's a cool scope. Hopefully you have a use for it, that's the best type of prize, haha.

Dave: is this the typical Keysight work place setup in the background?
I then should apply for a job at Keysight. I can imagine much worse jobs than sitting all day in my cubicle with an Atari 800XL and a Frogger cartridge  :-DD

What did you win? All but the 2nd or 1st tier prizes I'd probably be giving away to someone I know.
I volunteer to be given prizes. ;D

I can't seem to locate the list of eligible countries any more. Where can I find them?

That was a big WIN for me as well. Quite an interesting topic and obviously over-equipped approach to such common question (but that comes with working for a test equipment manufacturer).

I just noticed they use a 6,5 or 7,5 digit multimeter to prop up the FieldFox in that clip. What's the point of having it if you're not waving it around?  ;D

That list is getting shorter year to year. So I've been pressing that button, and it was telling to me that "Your entry has now been confirmed." but I'm not eligible. Great.

Holy crap! I won a multimeter! Ok it's not the high end scope or VNA I was hoping for but it looks like a nice bit of gear and I can certainly put it to good use. As a longtime Fluke fan somewhat disappointed by their current offerings I'm looking forward to seeing what the Keysight meter is like. I never win anything, I feel lucky if I get $1 from one of those scratch tickets so I was kinda shocked when I got the email. Almost wondered if it was a scam.

Is that the handheld one? Definitely a fun piece of kit to have. Congratulations! :)

Congratulations James Sweet! The U1282A is a very nice meter and fully featured. It can also be a weapon depending on the occasion.  ;D

Congrats, James! I love my U1282As - my Fluke got pretty dusty once I got my hands on one of ours. That's at the home lab, of course, I wouldn't be caught dead with a Fluke at the Colorado Springs site!

The machine that I registered on crapped out.  Is there a way to get my daily entry on another machine?

Sure, just sign in. The specific machine is completely irrelevant, it's just a website.

Do that, with the same details.
The old machine cached that information in a cookie, so you just need to click the button. No cookie, no info for the website, and you need to enter the info again.

[…] I was wondering if we'd get any EEVBlog members winning. […]

Yeah, we do. ;D Actually, Keysight broke my record of never winning anything in my life. (Well, except the hearts of a very few women and my great kids.)
And man, this is good marketing, because we "old farts" influence the next generation of engineers. (I’m 60 years young now and might have to be killed before retiring …)

In case you wonder, of course I was after a new oscilloscope or maybe a bench multimeter, because my lab needs a refresh, but hey, I won a U1282A DMM. Even after 5 years, this is still a great workhorse and comes in quite handy. Thanks, Keysight!

I enjoyed the Mar 10 and 11 videos.  I wish someone with that kind of test gear would test and report on the myriad DC-DC supplies available at the usual suspects, fleabay and banggood and et cetera.  In my opinion, it would make for an interesting Youtube video series (mailbag style) for us hobbyists and perhaps for prototype builders as well -- it is a bit wasteful for everyone to buy a selection on their own, then try to test them to see if/which one works...

You know, like Big Clive does for lights and gadgets, but for cheap DC-DC modules.
