Guacamole: so so easy to make yourself.
* Obtain one good-size avocado, let it ripen (but not too much).
* Mash the avocado in a bowl with a fork until it's all smushy.
* Mix in your favorite salsa*.
* Eat and enjoy.* Also easily made at home. Next time.

A couple of weeks ago I made a cheese dip from some left-over cheeses (grated) and sodium citrate. To make it a bit interesting for me (who failed miserably at chemistry in high school) I made the sodium citrate from scratch, using baking soda and citric acid.
The result was a really silky, jalapeno-spiked cheese sauce. Very tasty!
