WTF??!?
English breakfast has button mushrooms, preferably out of a tin. Have you never been to a greasy spoon? (checks country flag... oh)

I can't knock canned mushrooms because I always thought it was trash but someone made a string bean thing using those and it was amazing :wtf:

Yeah, it can be weird. I loath mushrooms, but the button mushrooms dished up in the likes of Happy Eater are quite nice. Bit chewy sometimes :-//

Our "fry up" is similar, although you won't see black pudding. You will however have a potato rosti or hash brown, alongside: Eggs, bacon, some kind of sausage (typically a chipolata-style, beef or chorizo), sautéed mushrooms, roasted tomato, baked beans and toast.
The toast is to either go with whatever is already on the plate, or you can serve it with whatever condiments you want. Butter and vegemite is a common choice.
It sounds like a lot, and it is. I wouldn't typically have this at home, but if I'm staying in a hotel etc... this would typically do me until dinner time.
