The image capture and automatic filing looks promising, but the notebook itself and thermochromic ink seems more like a gimmick than anything else.  $27 for a notebook that you can only re-use a maximum of 10 times and a pen.  Why wouldn't you just buy a bunch of $1 notebooks instead?  Or print off a bunch of their free pages and stick them in a binder so you can still use their app?

Right. I think the ghosting would probably be intolerable for some people. Having QR codes on the page is a great idea, traditional paper notebook manufacturers should take notice. The scanning capability they provide is similar to Microsoft Office Lens.

Actually they didn't even develop something new themselves, aside the app. The Frixion pens are widely available, and the notebook is just a mildly heat-resistant and metal-free one.

The app, as a complete package and not proof of concept, is already done by Microsoft Office Lens. They just added the QR code -> page ID system.

The Ink reappears when exposed to a temperature of under -10 degrees celsius.
Used frixion pens a lot, nothing ever disappeared unintentionally. Cheap royal blue fountain pen ink is much worse, after only 5 years of dry living room storage, only some faint fragments of the notes where visible.
