Advertising my Kickstarter project on Kicktraq and Kickspy.

Maybe some of you are interested in advertising your project on this websites so I will have my opinion here in about two weeks.

Just made a 930x80 pix banner for my project to advertise on those two websites Kicktraq and Kickspy.


On each of those websites there is a lot of traffic from those that have already a Kickstarter account so I was thinking it is a good way to advertise.
Both websites charge the same 10$/day with minimum 14 days for Kicktraq and minimum 7 days for Kickspy.
I did that yesterday for both so I will see how it works out. It is a big chance this are lost money but I wanted to try something so I can know for future projects.
Is a bit early to say anything about the effectiveness of this advertising.
I can say that Kicktraq has probably more views than Kickspy but since this banner is displayed by rotation the number of views is probably similar.
On Kickspy my adds has about 1 in 4 chances to be displayed where on Kicktraq is probably around 1 in 20 or worse since there are much more advertisers there mostly games but also some technology products.

One strange thing is that Kickspy will shut down at the end of the month. It seems Kickstarter dose not like their website not sure what will happen with Kicktraq since it seems the same type of website.
