Title: An attempt to scam by copying other project
Post by: BravoV on May 06, 2013, 08:08:01 am
Nothing dramatic though, a lil scam by cloning a project from KickStarter into Indiegogo, spotted at other forum -> Here (http://forum.stellarisiti.com/topic/625-ashimacore).

I guess the scammer thought maybe its worth a shot. :-DD

I'd laugh if the project actually shipped products by ordering them from the official kickstarter project with some markup.

This has become increasingly commonplace. The recent 3Doodler on Kickstarter was sloppily cloned on IGG, and there have been other similar cases. Often they don't even bother to use different images.

IGG really seems to be the armpit of crowdfunding.
