Title: ArduSat on Kickstarter
Post by: Tost on July 25, 2013, 01:45:57 pm
Hi,
what do you think about ArduSat on Kickstarter? Do you expect they will launch the device? There is a lot of blah blah but really few about technical details like attitude control etc.
And what an expertise you can expect from someone how plans to equip a satellite with accelerometer and pressure sensor?
Regards Tost

The only positive thing is that it will burn up on re-entry. That is, if the breadboard wires don't fall out the holes and cripple it irreparably when it's going through max-q during launch...

It's "easy" to reach space (weather balloon projects do it), but getting into orbit?  That's a lot more difficult.

Nah, you just need rockets, usually space rockets will do fine.
