Do you use Arduino and breadboard to prototype?
And connect them using jumper wires?
Are the excessive and messy jumper wires a pain for you?
They clutter easily, while debugging them is laborious.

What if we can replace the messy wires by one shield? So we introduce the BreadShield.

For example, it takes 11 jumper wires to connect Arduino with an HD44780 LCD (in 4-bit data). With BreadShield, just one.

Enjoy having all Arduino pins on your breadboard instantly, or swapping with a different breadboard swiftly.

And more: you can use other shields along side the breadboard, unlike the cases before where the jumper wires take the precious sockets for shields.

Last but not least, it’s open hardware. We plan to make our Github repo public with all design files and our thoughts in iterating the prototypes.

We are now pre-launching a crowdfunding campaign to bring BreadShield into a reality.
