Building a slow-motion camera

Hey,

we are working on our own slow-motion camera since a while and are currently trying to get crowd-funded on Kickstarter:

This is our first attempt trying to make our hobby to a profession. Any comments or thoughts?

EDIT: Maybe some additional informations are from interest as well: As image sensor we use the Python2000 / Python1300 (Bayer RGB) from OnSemi, as FPGA we use a Lattice MachXO3, the RAM are common available SODimm 204 DDR3 modules (8 GB). For the connection to the computer we use a FTDI FT601 (USB 3.0).

Hey,

yes, the Chronos project was for sure a big inspiration for us. Our focus is more on advanced reliable real-time Highspeed Machine Vision applications (because this is the domain we come
from ourselves  ;) ).

In comparison with Chronos 1.4 we have a reduced max framerate / resolution, but at the same time roughly 1/3 of the price.
