For some reason this video feels like something that Adafruit would sell.

I actually think this is a great idea for young children.  I just bought 2 starter kits for my 2 boys.

Must everything these days have tons of blinky LEDs on it...?

In the Shenzhen electronics market there is a building with 2 full floors and more dedicated to selling LED products.

Heh I built a circuit made of copper tape strips on paper a few years ago when I needed a switch that I could close or open without any force. I guess I should have thought about marketing that idea!
