As an inventor my passion is to create breakthrough products which enhance people's health. Introducing the development of ClearBuds, radiation-free earphones.
ClearBuds blocks 100 percent of the radiation emanating from cell phones. [Italics are mine]
ClearBuds was developed in response to the mounting body of scientific research pointing to the potential hazards of cell phone radiation.

Essentially a set of earbuds with tubes to deliver sound to your ears. Claims to be safer because you're not connecting and antenna to your head. For now, let's give him that. How does that "blocks 100 percent of the radiation emanating from cell phones"?

Rounding up.
To be fair, the physics behind such a thing might be solid-ish, if overhyped. Headphones may serve as an unintentional antennae with regards to the phone. Moving the nearest metalic component away from the head can in my opinion reduce received doses, as the intensity of a field weakens with the square of the distance (assuming a normal pattern).
edit:
The 100% is obviously bollocks. You still get the full dose where ever you put your cell phone (pocket).

I wonder how it manages to hit the cell tower with 100% blockage? :palm:

Air tube earphones :o
Does anyone remember that this was common on airplanes in the past ?
-
I remember those from planes as well. Back in the day when extruded plastic tubes were cheaper than wire.
-
I always thought their purpose was to minimize the risk of theft, since they would be useless outside the airplane.
-
Most likely so passengers didn't have access to the PA wiring.
I guess you could use them to make an stethoscope :)
-
They were probably just really cheap to produce and less likely to be stolen.. These days most people have their own.
-
They certainly weren't made for comfort or audio quality. As if flying long-haul in livestock class wasn't painful enough anyway :--
