This isn't a technology or engineering project, but I hope it might be of interest to some of you.

This is a new project I'm currently working on with some friends, focusing on science communication and science journalism. It's an E-magazine format, with an audience that will probably end up leaning towards the demographic of younger people. (The same is true for our writing and editorial team, and it's a little bit of a demographic shift away from the people you normally meet if you turn up at greybeard-dominated Royal Society meetings or Australian Skeptics meetings.)

We have a strong interdisciplinary team covering physics, genetics, chemistry and all sorts of other things, as well as the interaction of science and technology with society and popular culture. We're hoping to put together a little bit of crowdfunding to cover some basic costs, web design, server and hosting costs, graphic design and some other little bits and pieces to help make things a little more professional, and I'd be really grateful for any support anybody here might be able to give us in terms of telling your friends, spreading the word on social media and all that sort of thing. (Any funding contributions would be immensely welcome, too.)
I think Carl Sagan would approve. And little Sagan, too.

Please do check out our video. Thanks so much!
