Title: Launch on Indiegogo: paperd.ink | A low power open source e-paper dev board
Post by: rgujju on May 28, 2021, 05:48:45 pm
I feel SO excited to share this with you all. Have always been a lurker here but now I get to post!

We have been working on paperd.ink (http://paperd.ink) since last 1.5 years and it's been a wild journey. Covid-19, lockdowns, being bootstrapped and having a full time job. Add to that the inability to import components,  shutting down of industries so we couldn't 3D print or fabricate PCBs. It's REALLY hard to make a hardware product without capital - financial or social but thanks to the internet and people like you we got the confidence to build and launch it!
Do check it out!

paperd.ink is a 4.2" e-paper display coupled with an ESP32. It's open-source, fully customizable and expandable. All the PCB and 3D printing files are available on our Github repo. It’s low power (<20uA deep sleep) so you can run it for months on a 2000mAH Lipo. Update wirelessly using WiFi or Bluetooth.
Display your calendar, to-do list, weather, custom images, home IOT dashboard, and much more. You can code using micropython, Arduino, or ESP-IDF.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Cheers!
