After lurking on this forum for a while, I decided to finally make an account, and it's definitely not because my friends got tired of me ranting about ridiculous crowdfunding campaigns to them.

So here's the most recent one I've come across:
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/chargeall-world-s-smallest-portable-power-outletNevermind the fact that this is a campaign for something that already exists (albeit larger and less appealing).
Nevermind that the lamp the girl is holding in the slideshow has a different cord than is plugged into the device.
Nevermind that the laptop cable in the video runs behind the laptop so you can't see if it's actually the same cable running into the device.
Or that they think you could fully charge a MacBook Pro three times with ~65 Wh of batteries.
Or that an iPad 2 uses more power than a MacBook Pro.
Or this bit of nonsense: "In terms of the AC outlet, the small pack can support up to 12000 mAh and the large pack can support up to 18000 mAh max."
I love this campaign because of this:
"Most products fail in execution because the engineers/designers fail to realize the technological hurdles they will need to overcome during production."
What do you guys think? Bad engineers? Or straight-up scam?
The company seems to be real, but their products are unimpressive.
