Howdy. I saw this mentioned somewhere and immediately thought of eevblog. Hopefully someone with a big brain can dissect this and work out if it's viable. The idea is, after you've purchased one of their USB sticks for $25, you connect it to your router and get paid for sharing your 'unused' internet bandwidth. Legit or BS?

The general broad idea is not that far out. The issue is that it relies on someone wanting to buy their service. And that's just not happening. So not a total scam, but they must understand that it is not going to work.

And the amount of money you get will be minuscule, if any. Even their own fake graphic on the phone shows  $18,59 for "2.97 Terrabytes sold".

...which is actually a surprisingly realistic number. Apart from the many "free" CDNs, you can expect to pay around 0.04 - 0.12ct per GB for most CDN services.

But as mentioned, the CDN market is pretty saturated and there are not many reasons to use the proposed service instead.

OK thanks for the replies. So maybe not a scam as such, but their expectations sounds very unrealistic is what I'm gathering.
