Hi!

So main thread of the project is here, I will not be double posting out of respect:
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/oshw/openservocan-(-for-hobby-standard-size-servos)/

I started a fundraiser to get all the materials needed to start developing the whole thing.
I can not develop it exclusively on free samples unfortunately and momentarily I am also unemployed.

Any help you provide, either with money or with publicity is invaluable. Minimum contribution is 2€, for you maybe a cup of coffee, for me a little bit more faith in this world! :-)
If you have any questions or doubts please let me know!

Edit 2/11/2020: I removed the fundraising link.

Thanks,
Lefteris

Suppose someone sends $10 - how much of that would you actually get? IOW, how much goes in fees and kickbacks?

Platform is free, it´s around 2,9% + 30 cents for paypal per transaction. I guess the percentage is applied first so 10$ would be around 9.4$

OK, thanks. Just wanted to know where a contribution would end up - seems pointless if you don't get the vast bulk of it :)

Thanks for the thought. Good thing is that now I have a day job, so I can support at least half part of the development process (electronics for at least 10 boards).

I will need more to buy servos and testing platforms but at least then people will see, I´m not asking for money for just an idea.  ;)

Made a small contribution. Do keep us informed of progress (if any!) - I am interested in how this pans out.

Thanks a lot mate, I´ll have more news at the end of the month, I need my paycheck first. But with this money I´ll order some ebay servos.
See what is able to fit and what not. I just got an MG995 yesterday, unfortunately it´s a no go... too wide.

There has to be a v2 of the board, I´ll keep the current to build software and test, I´ll move to v2 much later.

Thanks again!
Lefteris

Hello again!

I have never forgotten the campaign but real life happened and now, I will have to recall it.

I am already building the V.2 of the board and will update my github with the schematics and boards soon enough!

I want to thank everybody that funded it and I will continue to provide content. Only difference is that now I do not
have to e-beg, I will continue on my own. I could not promise that I would have something complete and I can not
promise that now. But, even in my fails I want to be fair.

So thank you again a lot for being there, I did not expect anybody to give anything. But from what I understand,
two people from this forum did. So thank you and I promise that even late I will continue.

Best Regards,
Lefteris
