ORBI Prime: 360 Video Recording Eyewear
« on: November 17, 2016, 12:06:20 pm »
Hi group,

Here is a campaign that caught my eye on IGG. What do you guys think campaign or scampaign?

Link: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/orbi-prime-the-first-360-video-recording-eyewear-camera-travel#/

on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/orbi-inc.

Concerns

They indicate in on IGG that they are located in Berkley. One of the promotional videos:

was shot in Lake Kaindy. Kazakhstan, literally half a world away from Berkley.

Large team, but no real details in the biographies.

Here are the details

Delivery in 10 months (August 2017)

What do you think?

Regards,

Well, if this truly is legit (doubtful, but hey... who knows) it's kind of a tall order to fill 4 HD cameras? in that glasses frame they're showing ? Kind  thin to have all that inside of it. And 2x 1000 mAh batteries...the size they're showing it to be in that promo picture... no chance.

http://www.ufo-battery.com/detail/medium-capacity-battery/23

Here's a 1000 mAh Lipo, and they're saying it's 6.0x34x45mm , so  a bit bigger than the scale in the pic would suggest.

I don't know....I kind of smell some BS here, but who am I to judge.. they've already pass their original goal, so people really believe this thing is legit
