I did a video on the test lab who tested this:

However, although many studies have examined the potential health effects of non-ionizing radiation from radar, microwave ovens, and other sources, there is currently no consistent evidence that non-ionizing radiation increases cancer risk (1).

The only known biological effect of radiofrequency energy is heating

What do lab studies suggest?

As noted above, the RF waves given off by cell phones don’t have enough energy to damage DNA directly or to heat body tissues. Because of this, many scientists believe that cell phones aren’t able to cause cancer

The WHO added in June 2011 that "to date, no adverse health effects have been established as being caused by mobile phone use",[3] a point they reiterated in October 2014

3. Buy Phones With Low SAR Values To Avoid Health Problems
SAR or Specific Absorption Rate is the measure of RF energy absorption by the body and all cell phones are under the maximum permissible limit. Also, SAR values do not depend on the battery levels on your phones as the SAR value is calculated under the most extreme conditions. So, you do not need to shell out more for phones which have a lower SAR value, other smart phones will work quite as well.

DOES A 'SHIELD' REDUCE EMISSIONS FROM A MOBILE PHONE OR MAKE THEM SAFER?

From time to time various products are marketed claiming to increase the safety of mobile phone use. These products generally take the form of shielded cases, earpiece pads/shields, antenna clips/caps, so-called absorbing buttons and ‘neutraliser’ chips...

Consumer protection and fair trading agencies in the US, Australia and New Zealand have brought successful legal actions against the unsubstantiated claims of effectiveness by some manufacturers/agents of these types of devices...

The WHO advises that:

“The use of commercial devices for reducing radiofrequency field exposure has not been shown to be effective.”

people went for sun tan but they afraid there brain cells, boo boo and pee pee got heated up :palm: i guess some people have no problem getting something that saves nothing...

The only real dangers of Smartphones are that kids become short-sighted because they constantly focus their eyes on that small screen mere centimeters away from their face, as well as cheap batteries that catch fire/explode in your pocket or while charging.

Would be a different story if they were using tubes inside of them that produce X-Rays, or were operating at power-levels common to military radars. There are quite a few cases of cancer and eye-damage that can be directly linked to working with/operating these radars in Germany and other countries.
