thorium car... ôO
« on: March 16, 2015, 10:46:19 pm »

A friend of mine sent me this link but I think it is not genuine or am I really that wrong right now?

I don't think this is a good possible way to power a car and furthermore with only 8grams?
How do they want to do that? A fusion reactor? :wtf: ôO

Didn't Ford fiddle around with nuclear powered cars in the 50s?

Thorium is now unfortunately considered a restricted substance in the U.S. which sucks for the metallurgy and thermionics businesses. The government fears somebody could make a dirty bomb from it. In reality that is absurd, but when was the last time the government took actual data and reason into account for banning anything. I did not even bother watching this video. Thorium does have a great many practical applications in a great number of fields though. Its a shame.
