I really don't see what is the benefit of having wifi connection instead of bluetooth (BLE?) in a car.
And video is suggesting that this is the first cheap OBD adapter? Perhaps they made this video 10 years ago?
You can get BT OBD adapter on ebay for 20% of their requested price.

An iOS device has to be jailbroken and running Roqybt to work with bluetooth OBD devices.
