I'm not sure you could call it a fail. Yes, in one respect, it took way too long to get the product. I received mine today that I backed in September 2017. At the time I was enthusiastic. I had recently stopped using Sailfish OS due to its issues. Now I'm too dependent on banking and messaging apps in Android, so I don't really know what to do with the Librem phone. Maybe keep it as a plaything. Or sell it. I like the whole concept and I'm all for free and open source software, but I'm also pragmatic and use tools where they are available.
