But there's a fundamental problem...the people that buy this have no functioning brain, where are are they gonna place it between? Or maybe their lack of brains will mean they don't feel pain either. 

Can I combine this with detox treatments, essential oils, and any other quack medical I can think of and transcend my human form?

Also, I bet it's worth way less than 10$. It's probably nothing more than adhesive backed sandpaper with a pattern and printing.

I sure hope their margins have dropped significantly now that they’re selling on Amazon. The reviews there are 40% one star, 37% @5. Not quite black and white, but close with ~20% not sure the want to admit they fell for it. Either you believe in woo or you don’t. I really wonder how many of the positives are actually shills. Funny how many of the positive reviews are not verified purchasers and they’re effusive to the extreme.

Incorrect. If whatever isn't your field then you have to take a certain amount on trust. That's what these scams rely on - not that people are thick but that they don't have the information necessary to make an expert judgement.

Of course, there will be some people that want to believe and will do so regardless, but not everyone that falls for scams are what you would class as believers.

No one appreciates pain, and a lot of people will pay to make it go away sooner than later, or at least relieve it,

Nonsense. When your friends make fun out of you, usually you are just uninformed (about something), not uneducated. Buying BS product that promises impossible is completely another kind of "being fooled". If you don't see the difference - we are not on the same page to say it politely

Your average citizen doesn' have a relevant lab or the knowledge to use one appropriately, so we are all dependant on someone elses ramblings to some extent. The trick is thus to be able to trust your source. How do you pluck one out of the blue that's OK? It's like suddenly needing a new kettle and having to buy one from Amazon - what features are important, which reviews do you trust, which one will actually work, etc.
