Cool. You can actually see the wave length. The plate at the top also seems to be important.

The plate is the "wrong termination". So, a standing wave is generated.

Didn't Mike made a video about this? maybe it was someone else, but I recall seeing this before over a year ago.

I agree, I remember seeing this a while ago. Not in a commercialized form, but still, it's been around for a while.
