Kickstarter is a real example of jam tomorrow.

Not sure why but I've an urge to go and bake bread...

*grin* Good one!

Not sure why but I've an urge to go and bake bread...

Because that way you are damn sure you'll have bread today. Just go down the supermarket for some ham, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes and you're good to go!

Cool! A kickstarted proxy to buy conductive polymer film on Alibaba.

What this site needs is a cooking forum!
I'm sure we've all fried more than our share of chips  :)

Yeah!
But we'd probably want a way to prevent cooking posts from polluting the main electronics "new posts" system.

I will gladly sacrifice that convenience in exchange for some good recipes. :) At any rate, GeoffS' donut baking + these here bananas-that-are-a-bit-old served as inspiration. So I think I'll be making some banana bread with nuts + berries later today. Would have done so right now if I wasn't out of flour and sugar. And nuts.  Oh wait, and creme fraiche. doh. Supermarket time...

The dounts are Psi's. My doctor would kill me if I ate those, if the donuts didn't do it first.
I'm the one making bread.

The donuts themselves aren't that bad for you.

If you ate one that had no sugar/cinnamon dusting it would taste like a nice doughy bread.
The sweetness in the actual dough is minimal.

I use an olive oil based margarine instead of butter and soymilk instead of cows milk too.
Doesn't seem to effect the taste at all.

I have a choc cake recipe around here somewhere which is awesome++
When you get the cooking time and temp right it's what i like to call "restaurant quality"
Now that's a recipe which would get GeoffS killed by his doctor. It tastes so good but damn its full of bad bad things :P
You know how most cakes have ~2cups of flour, well this one only has 2 tblspoons. The rest of the cake is made from 8 eggs, real melted chocolate  (2blocks), sour cream, sugar and butter.

Oh those look good! I need to try donuts next...

I made this loaf of bread quite a while back actually, and all on my own.. :)
It was my first time making a braided loaf like this...but not my first time actually making bread....

As with Kickstarter, you don't always get what's advertised.
