That's TERRIBLE.
How could they ban someone for speaking the truth  :--

Read a few of his posts and you'll see why he was banned.

You mean why was Keith banned here?

He was trolling.  "Telling the truth" is one thing, but killing the value of the site by jumping into every thread to wage your personal war was taking it's toll on everyone.  He also refused to listen to any criticism or feedback in waging his holy war. And most troubling, he pretty much became that which he railed against - looking to get $$ for a nebulous ill defined end product that entailed a lot of hype and not a lot of substance.   There must be some sort of personality disorder at play there, which is sad because he's probably a very nice guy in person.  Just couldn't get over his Internet grudge and according to him, it cost him his entire retirement savings grinding out that grudge.

OP has mentioned Keef before so he knows who is is prior to this thread.

My suspicion is that the OP knows Keef very well.

Would it be overly forward of me to put out the suggestion that he is Keef? I mean, his account was created right around when Keef was canned, he's got similar interests, a slightly similar (but more damped) writing style, started out by posting on a Keef thread...

If not, Pentode, I offer you my sincerest apologies for the comparison.

Edit: Not the first to suggest it, apparently :)

I was just investigating this very thought!

Previous posts all about crown funding, same ISP and IP address range as keef. He'll be getting a temporary ban for a couple of other reasons.

May I ask why? He seems pretty harmless...

Unless he truly is Keef trying to get around a ban, that is.

If you follow the link you'll see that he does call himself "Keef" so it certainly looks like that

The link at the top? Doesn't mean he is Keef.

Not that I don't think he is. I strongly suspect it. I was just wondering what "other reasons" were - I figured the main reason was "he is Keef", so I thought other reasons would be something like "inflammatory posts", but I couldn't really find any.

Keef made a whooping $220 from his first $10000 crowd funding campaign on indigogo. Guess he burned through the money by now.

Was it $10k? The fact that this one is $100k is hilarious. WTF are we supposed to think he needs that much for? |O

Ups, sorry, his first try was also for $100000 http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/keef-s-book-it-s-a-ripper

Yeah, didn't even need to view Posts By This User under his profile to be confident that it was him. Of course the posts just confirm it.

So that means he had at least two accounts here - because this one (pentode) was created back in May. I wonder how many more he has and how often we will be graced by his presence.

This is his second sock puppet that I'm aware of, one was banned within a day of creation.
