Title: trust worthy crowdfunding?
Post by: silentb0y on May 09, 2013, 09:12:08 am
hey guys i was thinking about starting a indiegogo campaign.
But the problem is that i don't really want to start it if my video don't make me seem trust worthy?
So if you could please give your honest opinion I would be grateful.
Thank you kindly :)

Yet another 3D printer? Why?
As for the trustworthy part, it's not just the video, it's whether or not you can prove you have a chance of delivery.
Two 16 year old kids who have (presumably) zero experience delivering a product, is well, not very convincing.
It doesn't matter if you post daily updates, what do you have to show, now?
Do you have any sort of track record of documenting progress on a project? (that would help a lot)
If the answer is nothing, then I don't think many people are going to back two kids to have a go at developing a 3D printer from scratch. The odds that you can deliver a tangible product at the end are obviously not good. So unless people are just going to back some kids to "have a go", then I suspect this one isn't going to fly.

Who said about 3D printer ? Watch again, its all about spending money to these two 16 years old kids to have fun get an "experience & learning" in the preparation of getting into the high school by next year.

That school will be an extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemly focus on "everything" electronic as he claimed.  :palm:

Who said about 3D printer ?

He did, near the start. They want to form a company, presumably to produce this 3D printer?

At the very least you are not lying in the YT clip (from my weak NLP knowledge :P).
