Woo hoo! I got something from NSW today! It wasn't in a Tyvek envelope, just a thick card envelope with a $2.60 stamp with a picture of the Queen on it.

So looks like Dave's re-mailings have finally arrived in Texas. When did you mail it? It seemed pretty quick.

I tweeted a photo of it, so whatever day that was...
But yeah, regular airmail is generally pretty quick, always has been.

I have had a couple of reports of people still not receiving their rulers after the 2nd round shipments of existing missing rulers.
Sorry, but the postal system is out of my hands, and I have no more rulers in order to ship another round. I'd have to make another large batch and that isn't economically viable.
So at some point (which is now) I have to make the call that I will simply refund those who haven't received their rulers by now. There are just some countries and regions where loss in the postal system is just too high, and it's pointless to just keep re-shipping ad-infinitum.
So if you are in this boat, please email your paypal address and I'll arrange your refund.

Can we have information about the countries and regions?

Pozible does not email update to supporters, what a feature for people to keep going to check the site.   Also, my data seem to be lost, and I had to comb the site and convinced Dave I was quite early in supporting.  The postal system here in SGP is quite reliable, but mine is still no where in sight.  Shall wait somemore and see.

Hey, I did not get any email update from day 1.  For the uCurrent on kickstarter, no issue.  I am listed in the supporter page, but no email from them and also my data also not sent to Dave.

Hey, I did not get any email update from day 1.

That is because your info was not in the Pozible system, why I do not know. I can only presume you did not fill it out.
As per my last update I am now only offering refunds on non-delivered rulers.

Any chance we can buy some extra rulers you might have left or ones that got returned?

I missed the uRuler thing and I'd like to get one, mainly because I want a ruler with your face on it hehe.

Thanks

Possible, could be my Fat finger, or could be bugs, luckily these errors are seldom.  Shall be good to have oa Dave's ruler> I have a small collection of a few different kinds now.  If they do turn up, bonus, else won't be too bothered.

Where is a good place to send this out for fab? I'd like one (and missed out on BOTH the OSH Conference here and on the Pozzible deal), and so would some friends of mine. I can get maybe 10-15 people in on the deal, not much more. I did a quick quote on Sunstone, but that was very costly - I must have selected the wrong service? Or not cost-effective at this quantity?

I think Dave used http://www.pcbcart.com/, no reason you couldn't do the same. From what I remember they have cheap prices also for low quantities.

10 people and 3 rulers each. More is cheaper because of bigger volume.

Please check and double check everything since those things are just off the top of my head.

Just let us know that you are making a living wage on this.  AU$15 for 5 is a great deal I think.

Like I said in the other thread, costing is:
For a $10 order of two boards:
$8.86 after fees
-$2 for the boards
-$2.60 for the stamp
-$0.03 for envelope
-$0.02 for label

$4.21 profit for stuffing one envelope.
Worth it?  :-//
Then I pay 30% tax on that.

Only 30% Taxes...?
You are really lucky...
Here in Italy :
1) Taxes are between 55% and 65%
2) Also pay taxes even if your business is in trouble and you have a budget at a loss.

Woth it...?
 :-\
per aspera ad astra..

Only 30% Taxes...?

Yes, the company tax rate is 30%.
Person income tax rates range from 19% to 45% on a scaled bracket.
